  ​Transparency in Timeshare
  
  In June of 2007, Joe and Dana Takacs formed TheMVPService LLC, a company dedicated to establishing a commissions-based timeshare resales market without the ridiculous pressure offered in so many places. Today, MVP is proud to be representing over 1,100 units in timeshare associations across Florida, South Carolina, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.
  In the years since, Joe and Dana have noticed significant consolidation and change in the timeshare market, at times leaving non-branded (often called legacy) properties behind. Yet millions of families depend on these “legacy” properties as their home resort for their vacations.
  Joe and Dana chose to fill that need with the formation of TOWB LLC. The purpose of TOWB is to work directly with the boards, creating a healthy partnership and offering independent advice and counsel that is free from obligation.
  The two biggest issues that surface at nearly every legacy property are sales and rentals. Without a robust program in both, resorts find it hard to continue. While management companies can often provide a wealth of knowledge and a list of best practices, many of these legacy properties are self-managed and may want to stay that way.
  That’s where TOWB comes in. We are here to help and we promise to work with integrity from the start. We bring a mindset built on Christian principles where we treat you like you should be treated. We aren’t perfect by any means, but every day we strive to be honest and honor the God in whom we believe. Combine that with creativity and the courage to try new ideas, and boards will be given the opportunity to listen to people without an agenda and grow their resort in a healthy way.

  Joseph Takacs
  CEO

  Joseph has been in the tourism and hospitality business for over 40 years. His background includes the management of hotels and resorts, golf courses, restaurants, timeshare and condominiums. He has extensive background in the start-up and continued long term success of resort management, rental and sales.
  Joseph holds a PhD from the Academy of Economic studies in Bucharest Romania and teaches in the #1 MBA program in Eastern Europe; Tiffin University/University of Bucharest executive MBA. He is licensed as a real estate broker in 31 states, holds the ‘Registered Resort Professional’ (RRP) designation from ARDA, is a member of the Licensed Timeshare Real Estate Brokers Association (LTRBA), is a Timeshare Board Members Association (TBMA) sponsor and a Realtor.
  Joseph is married 34 years and enjoys 4 wonderful children and 1 grandchild with another expected in July 2020.

  Dana Takacs

  Dana and Joe are partners in MVP and TOWB.  Dana brings a unique perspective as she comes from a Masters background in Choral Conducting. 
  At the beginning of MVP in 2007, Dana continued a pursuit of her music background; theatre production, singing and conducting.  Joseph took the lead.  In 2010, Dana began to get more involved and today is an integral part of the company from both a high level and daily involvement where she controls inventory and is responsible for the company inventory program - Quickbase (an Intuit product), electronic document management as well as a real partner as MVP works to maintain an honest approach in a difficult world.
   
  She handles much of the communications with timeshare owners and has a true heart that welcomes opportunities TOWB brings to help people out of their timeshare.
  Dana also focuses on the ongoing renovation work at Captains Cove in Galveston, the most recent repurpose to reach completion of the title work (51 units on Seawall Blvd).
  Dana is a licensed Real Estate agent in the state of Florida.

  Real Estate Repurpose/changing timeshare to whole ownership

  TOWB is dedicated to helping timeshare resorts transition from timeshare to whole ownership.  With the growth of Airbnb and other rental venues, and the inefficiency of the timeshare secondary market, timeshare ownership is declining and resorts are in trouble.
  TOWB brings a solution that relieves an aging owner-base from ongoing fees AND allows them to share in sales proceeds.
