Investor Pitch Feedback

Landcent Europe B.V.
  1. I thought it was a really solid presentation. It looked really good.
  2.  I’d like to see the breakdown in a slide or two what the numbers look like. And how the business model rolls up.
  3. My main question is – it looked like there were three products. Which product is the lead? Is there one that is kind of the main thing that you are focusing on right now?
  4. What is different about your nets? Why will NGOs and governments buy that one? I assume they are better than their competition, but you are really strong on showing there is a big need here, but it could beef up in why are these solutions better than anything else in their sector?
  5. I would beef up in your pitch just the difference between your products and what is currently out there. For example, differences in pricing and traction that you have with what groups are saying in regard to, either orders in place or conversations towards orders.
  6. Who is the customer? Is the customer the person purchasing the products the end user? Or is it a NGO?
  7. The message that is communicated will have to be packaged – the message that you have right now is communicated in a way that an NGO or a donor would come and say great solution. There is the obvious problem, you have a unique solution, but how the end customer connects with it is going to be totally different.
  8. You have a product that is lifesaving – that by itself, puts it in the category of one that is honoring to God and aligned with what God is up to in the world. How do you connect with the end-user – the distribution of it?
  9. So, when you think about your distribution system, how can you have that personal contact somewhere along the way. Perhaps the people who are involved in the distribution should also have a similar mission – not just of the health, but the spiritual mission.
  10. It was a very, very good presentation for the brief amount of time that you were given, and I thought you covered the bases very well.
  11. Obviously, with the time you were given to give your pitch, you should expect scrutiny over distribution, product differentiation, your value proposition and I have no doubt you know it.
  12. I thought it was a very, very good pitch and I wish you well.
hopr
  1. That was really a very creative idea.
  2. Does this solve the problem when I login to a site that gives a recommended password?
  3. There are a lot of standard pieces of what a funding group, whether it’s a seed capital or otherwise, are going to want to see. They want to categorize you with something that they are familiar with. They want to go to the crystalized problem and solution. You need to get that on the plate earlier.

  4. Do the end users have to be members?
  5. The second question is that I had noticed in the testimonials that one of them did not have to use the two-factor authentication anymore. Can you explain the two sides?
  6. I’d like to know a little bit more about why you chose this particular startup. What is the passion behind it?
  7. Love that story that you just shared at the passion, the birth and the personal story for that.
  8. If the technology is a differentiator, and the distribution channel is the chicken and the egg you are looking to solve for – is there a path to go and partner with Google, for example, to provide them the technology to get you out there and established very, very quickly to solve that chicken and the egg concern?
  9. There might be a path to go to some of these broader foundations that are focused on the social good. Then start partnering with them within their network, to solve the problems for individuals, without having to go through what I would perceive to be some pretty significant startup marketing costs to go out and compete commercially, right?
  10. You have to build that precedent of the capability set as you know and that might be another avenue for you.
  11. One very pragmatic question – you mentioned the freemium model. Have you seen any conversions from the free to the paid version?
