At Flex Marine Power our kingdom mission is to create tidal turbine technology which will enable coastal communities to thrive through harnessing the power of the sea. Our technology and business model is designed to build prosperity into fragile or developing coastal economies by putting the significant opportunities associated with tidal stream resources within the reach of local people. Our vision is to enable a global network of community-embedded tidal energy projects - each generating local value and opportunities in the form of jobs, business opportunities, and green sustainable energy.
David Mummery
Founder & CEODavid is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Chartered Manager with leading experience in the delivery of marine renewable energy projects for blue-chip clients, and with a proven ability to build teams and to deliver technology innovation. With a heart to enable even the poorest coastal communities across the globe to participate in the enormous ocean energy opportunity, and having run a successful technology consulting business in the marine space from 2011-15, David launched Flex Marine Power in 2015 and has lead the team in the design, manufacture and demonstration of an innovative tidal turbine.Flex Marine Power
