Deep Dive 2020
Our goal for these deep dive sessions is to allow the accredited investors that attended the pitch competition the opportunity to pursue specific finalist pitch companies further. The deep dive sessions serve as a platform where investors can ask questions directly to the CEO/executive team regarding the company, the product or service, target market, financial operations/projections, executive team, competitive advantage, risks and opportunities, funding requirements, use of funds, term sheet, etc. Investors will have access to company profiles, business plans, financial sheets, pitch decks, and videos of the pitch competition before the deep dive session. The finalist executive team will also have a list of the investors in attendance and will be prepared to discuss the funding term sheet. Finally, the deep dive sessions allow the investor and entrepreneur to deepen their relationship not only to become business partners, but as fellow believers with the common goal of creating wealth while having a meaningful kingdom impact.
Company & Investor Feedback
"Even for the deep dives I think the virtual format is superior in many ways. Everything is so much more targeted and clear and legible. And I really enjoy being able to review all materials again before the deep dive begins including the CEO video presentation. This whole format is very clean and helpful. And each session is not rushed into fifteen or twenty minutes plus the time for handouts etc. which tends to be disorganized. Providing an hour for each company in the deep dive in groups of three and spreading the sessions out over a number of weeks is brilliant ! Each company has an opportunity to really shine."
"I liked that there was an easy way to connect with companies even in the midst of this situation."
"Everyone asked great questions and am thankful for the opportunity."
"I have no constructive feedback. I thought the follow up was very well thought out and delivered. Having a moderator on the deep dives was a great idea."
"I thought that the format was great with the mix of Q&A and moderator questions."
"Great opportunity to talk to CEOs in an intimate small group of small people."
"Their questions were helpful in being prepared for future investment meetings. I also realized how important it is to keep answers brief and concise to cover more ground."
